Our Internship Programme offers the unique opportunity to gain direct practical experience in an international environment and acquire new skills under the supervision of our experienced staff. Selected interns will work with our country and cluster team in implementation of donor funded projects in areas such as media strengthening, English, Education, Creative Economy.

The successful candidates will be involved in assisting our project team in the following areas:

  • Provide support in communication, marketing and social media work - project success stories, web and social media updates
  • Undertake research and analysis - contributing to the production of documents -including drafting notes, reports, briefs, emails and letters
  • Compiling and organizing information and data related to the projects and programmes
  • Assisting with logistics - Arranging meetings, workshops, training courses
  • Budget preparation and budget monitoring
  • Support translation, report writing, preparation of presentation material

Skills and requirements

  • Currently pursuing a university or master’s degree
  • Able to legally work in Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English and Bosnian/Serbian/Croatian
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly MS Outlook and MS Office packages
  • Time management and good organizational skills
  • Project management or event management experience will be considered an asset

  • Your CV should not be longer than two sides of A4 paper. For this position volunteer and internship experience will be considered as work experience and should be listed. Your letter of application should include evidence that you meet the above-listed requirements as well as reasons why and how our team will benefit from your engagement. The letter should be no longer than a single side of A4 paper, single spacing.
  • Applicants enrolled in undergraduate studies must have completed at least two years of full-time studies at a university or equivalent institution towards the completion of an undergraduate degree. Applicants enrolled in master studies are also invited to apply.
